Vermilion Sunset

This gorgeous sunset was captured on film in Israel earlier this month (February 6). As the Sun dipped beneath the horizon, the sky turned red all over, not only to the west, but from horizon to horizon. The effect was so intense that even buildings looked red! The intense colors lasted only 4 minutes and then quickly faded to the muted tones of a more ordinary sunset.
