I wander'd lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;*

While it has been very warm this winter across much of eastern North America, it has been cool in parts of the western US and Canada. Usually, March in Vancouver, British Columbia is more of a spring month than a winter month. The crocuses typically bloom in February and by mid-March, the daffodils are out. However, this year, Mother Nature fooled the early-season flowering plants, and residents of Vancouver as well, with several late snowfalls. The daffodils have been dressed in "Easter Bonnets" of white.
