The above picture was taken on August 27, from Cascade, Colorado and shows a sequence of Mars as it's setting. It was photographed between 4:25 and 4:37 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time -- within minutes of its exact perigee.
Details: Photo was made with a 50 mm lens (f/1.0), using a 10 second exposure (at ISO 1250). As a result, Mars itself is well overexposed.
