You don't always have to be in a bucolic setting to enjoy the setting or rising Sun. The amazing sunset above was captured from an apartment window in the Bronx borough of New York City, on a cold February evening in 2002. The view is toward the southwest. These pendulous wave clouds, associated with the passage of a cold front, were perfectly positioned and just at the right altitude to produce this breathtaking scene. The red, orange and pink palette lingered through much of the evening.
