The above photo was taken this past January, just before sunset, near Waremme, Belgium. A wide angle 20mm lens was used. Perhaps you've noticed that when the Sun is low in the sky, your shadow is stretched out in such a way that you look like you belong in a circus. Of course, the long-legged, short torso look is just a matter of perspective. We see shadows differently based primarily on how they're viewed (angle) and also on the distance of the surface where the shadow is projected.
