Rather stormy skies and a foamy Pacific Ocean present an interesting contrast on this photo, taken earlier in the fall, at Cape Lookout State Park in Oregon. Cape Lookout is located on a sand spit between Netarts Bay and the ocean and provides scenic views up and down the shore. On occasion, the Pacific offers up a bounty of driftwood, glass fishing floats and assorted seashells, making beachcombing a popular activity.
