The frosty photo above was taken from Svalboviken, Sweden on February 29, 2004. Is it a frozen waterfall? Actually, it's not. During most of the year this cliff is hardly even wet. However, during winter it slowly seeps water, a few drips at a time, regardless of how cold it is. As the drips and drops freeze, eventually a rather impressive icefall results -- shown here at 23 ft or about 7 meters in height.
