Sunset Double Rainbow

Retreating from stormy weather in Yosemite National Park in California on the afternoon of March 27, we looked back (toward the east) and witnessed this captivating double rainbow. The heigth of this proud bow as well as the reddish and pinkish coloration are clues to the time it was observed -- at sunset. Note that the colors of the primary bow and the outer secondary bow are reversed.
