This unusual photo captures the reflection of the opposite canyon wall and the cloudless sky above the stream in Arch Canyon, Utah. The canyon wall is over exposed, and the sky isn't visible here. Although this is one of the few perennial streams in the Comb Wash watershed, there's normally not enough water to create such a reflection. Also, there was no wind to create ripples to spoil the reflection. Finally, the Sun and shadow were just right or we wouldn't have noticed the reflection. Photo taken on April 19, 2006.
