The creamy full Moon shown above was captured rising from Lycabettus Hill, in the center of Athens, Greece on October 25, 2007 at 15:50 UT. This is the Hunter's Moon. The Hunter's Moon is designated as the first full Moon following the Harvest Moon. In 2007, the Hunter's Moon was also the closest full Moon to Earth, and thus it appeared slightly larger than the other full Moons this year. The Hunter's Moon of 2007 was completely full at 04:52 UT on Friday, October 26.
