Sunbeams and Fog Reflection

The photo above showing an array of sunbeams apparently emanating from the top of a high rise building was captured in Bellevue, Washington on December 11, 2005. In fact, the morning Sun is being reflected off of the building's metallic and glassy surfaces. A thin layer of dissipating fog enhanced the visibility of these rays. Notice how they appear to spread out. In fact, they're parallel but perspective makes them seem to originate from a point.
