Summary Author and Editor: Mila Zinkova
This photo is composed of crepuscular rays, reflections of these same rays in the pond and ripples on the pond’s surface. The rays are made visible by early morning fog. Crepuscular rays appear to diverge from the Sun’s position and are also known as "Ropes of Maui," "Sun drawing water" or just "sunbeams." Photo taken in San Francisco, California on February 12, 2008.
