Skogafoss waterfall in southern Iceland is found on the clear, cold Skoga River, having as its source the nearby Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull glaciers. The falls has a width of approximately 80 ft (25 m) and a drop of nearly 200 ft (61 m) and is easily approachable. The fall line in this area is where the coastal lowlands transition into Highlands of Iceland. For scale purposes, note the person standing at lower right. Photo taken on July 2, 2013.
