The above composite radar image showing precipitation across the country was taken yesterday (November 6 at 3:00 p.m EST), but it gives an idea as to what to expect for today's election day weather. Looks like it'll be dry across most of the country, but it's likely to be unsettled with some precipitation in parts of the southwest, northern plains and Great Lakes regions. The dark blue color indicates very light rain showers or snow flurries, turquoise is light precipitation, green is moderate, red is heavy, and the magenta color indicates very intense precipitation.
