While viewing last week's (Monday, June 10) partial solar eclipse, I took the above photo by positioning a pair of binoculars (taped to a tripod) toward the Sun, and letting the image hit the wall. As I was positioning my shadow to get a better view of the image, I realized that I had created a "Betty Boop" silhouette! The self-portrait was snapped using a Kodak DC5000 Digital Camera. This eclipse was visible in various stages across most of western North America.
