The above photo shows McArthur-Burney Falls, located southeast of Mount Shasta, California, at the southern end of the Cascade Range. Unlike the much more famous waterfalls in Yosemite Valley, McArthur-Burney has a steady flow of water, which ensures a beautiful display year-round. This picture was taken in mid autumn, when Yosemite Falls were basically dry. McArthur-Burney is 129 feet (40 m) tall. Approximately 100 million gallons of water pass over these falls each day.
