Though dreary weather is often standard fare and fair weather sometimes in short supply over the United Kingdom and Ireland, this SeaWiFS image shows nary a cloud in the sky. The European Mainland (France) is on the right of this side-looking (off-nadir) image, and Norway is to the upper right. Is there any wonder why Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle?
