Spelunking in Onesquethaw Cave

The above is a group photo of hard working earth science teachers on a spelunking trip to the famous Helderberg area of New York State. After caving for 3 hours, we emerged from Onesquethaw Cave. The cave is a classic solution cave that formed along the axis of an anticline. Access into the cave is through a sinkhole. If you are afraid of getting dirty and are claustrophobic, then spelunking is definitely not for you!!
