The magnificent, stormy sunset above was captured near Litchfield, Victoria, Australia on December 8, 2004. This storm occurred during a week of un-seasonal thunderstorm activity in southeastern Australia. At day's end, these pendulous mammatus clouds were highlighted by the setting Sun, alerting farmers and towns-people alike that they mean business.
