From the uplands of the Pocono Mountains, the Little Bushkill Creek tumbles over a shale cliff at the Main Falls to a deep pool approximately 100 feet (30.5 m) below. This crystal clear water then continues its journey to the Delaware River. The above photo shows only one of the eight falls that can be seen while hiking the trails of the park -- a private park that maintains the trails, bridges and walkways. Many of these charming falls are flanked by moss, ferns, chestnut oaks, and red maples. Photo taken on August 20, 2005.
