On Friday, December 16, 2005, I was outside washing the windows on my home when I looked up and was startled by this halo display. I got my camera and took a few photos. I observed, from zenith downward, a circumzenithal arc, a Parry arc, an upper tangent arc, and a 22 degree halo. I also saw sundogs on both sides of the Sun, as well as a partial parhelic circle extending from the right-hand sundog. The photo has been "tone balanced" with Micrografx Picture Publisher-version 8.0 to accentuate the arcs and the halo. The sky was glaring and quite milky. In addition, there was a hint of a corona that was visible in both the enhanced, as well as the raw image.

Photo taken with a Sony S-85 Digital Camera, F: 8.0, Shutter: 1/1000 second, ISO: 100.
