The photo above, entitled "Ecological Preserve," was captured at Dana Point, California on February 4, 2006. Instead of dwelling on the interesting life forms in the tidal pools nearby, I tried a different twist -- focusing on the shape and texture of the shoreline. As smartly shown on this picture, even seemingly mundane or normally overlooked features, (coastal rocks and sea water) can be beautiful in their own right.
