Sliver of the Moon

This sliver of the crescent Moon was photographed during the early evening of January 30, 2006 from Rostronën, Bretagne, France. The Moon was only 27 hours old when I first detected it -- very young Moon. Later in the evening, when it was closer to the horizon, I decided to make a panorama with the town's "skyline" as a backdrop (shown above).
