The funnel cloud above was spotted dancing over Aros (Scotland), from Tobermory on Mull, on October 14, 2004. It was verified by as a genuine twister by both the U.K. Meteorological Office and the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation. Tornadic phenomena is very rare across Scotland. Very few tornadoes ever occur at latitudes north of 55 degrees and in marine type climates.

This photo was taken at 4.48 p.m. precisely on October 14 -- the joys of digital photography!
