The photo above seemingly showing a jet ripping across the face of the Sun was snapped from Vallentuna, Sweden, on April 26, 2007. I was enjoying the new sunspot (#953, at upper left) when I observed a commercial jet moving in the direction of the Sun. So I put my camera on the telescope and took several shots, including this one. Note also the solar prominence at bottom.
