New York Snow Scene

The photo above showing a splendid snow scene was taken in Brewster, New York, on January 14, 2008. Falling snow coated every branch, and the rare leaf, to create this woodland wonderland. From Wisconsin to northern New England, the winter of 2007-2008 was the snowiest on record for many cities and towns. Note that the leaden sky looks brighter than the snow. A snowy landscape cannot be any brighter than the sky that is illuminating it.
