The photo above showing an eerie storm near Stukenbrock, Germany was taken during the early evening on August, 12, 2008. It approached from the west and exploded in size as it swooped over Stukenbroch. To the south, moonlight (waxing gibbous phase) shining through thin clouds is strong enough to illuminate the oncoming storm.
