A dry river channel on the Moon? Well, yes, but not created by water. Rima Hadley is an ancient rille and may be the remnant of a collapsed lava tube. Lava from an erupting fissure may assume drainage patterns similar to overland water flow. Rima Hadley is located at the eastern edge of the giant Imbrium basin and was the target area for the Apollo 15 expedition. Photo taken on January 12, 2003 from Offenbach, Germany.
