The kaleidoscopic image above is a montage of 170 different pictures of the night sky (mostly) that I snapped over the last several years during various photographic excursions. Represented in the face of the Earth and Moon (and the background) are alignments between planets, conjunctions with the Moon, eclipses, star trails, Moon trails, the Milky Way, etc. The composition was made manually in Photoshop using thumbnails from my Facebook gallery.
