Water Drops and Dandelions

The photo above shows drops of water that collected in spent dandelions in my garden in Paris, France. Liquid drops act like a simple lens (fisheye lens). Thus, the refracted image appears upside down when looking though the drop. Bigger drops produce less distortion than smaller drops. Note the tinge of iridescence seen best in the out of focus fibrous strands at upper left. Photo taken on May 4, 2013.
