While on a rock climbing trip in Noosa National Park, Australia, I came upon this beautiful example of metasandstone with ferruginous, fracture infill. Metasandstone is sandstone modified by temperature and pressure or by changes in a rock's chemical environment -- mechanical dislocation (differential stress) and chemical recrystallization.
