The mossy forest shown above was photographed in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia. This woolen looking landscape receives a barrage of rain from May until September and again from November until March. Even when it's not raining these highlands are often blanketed by low-level clouds. Moss, ferns, lichen and orchids all thrive here. Visitors can explore the mossy forest via a long (1.2 mi or 2 km) boardwalk. Photo taken on July 7, 2015.
