This enchanting snow scene was captured in Everett, Massachusetts (just north of Boston), as Winter Storm Lexi was ending earlier this month. The sky transitioned from very low visibility to an absolutely beautiful sunset in a matter of minutes. In the Everett area, and across much of eastern New England, 6 to 10 in (15 to 25 cm) of wet, sticky snow coated trees, lawns and rooftops. After last year's record-setting snow season, Lexi was our first decent snow producer in 2016. Photo taken on February 5, 2016.
