The Orgues of Ille-sur-Têt is a small badlands found near the eastern Pyrenees Mountains in the Catalan Country of southern France. These exposed clay and conglomerate outcrops deposited some 4 to 5 million years ago, have been carved over the eons chiefly by heavy rainfalls and flash floods. The hoodoos, organ pipes and other elongated shapes that can be seen here are reminiscent of Bryce Canyon, Utah. Photo taken on April 9, 2017.
