The Iguazu Falls is one of the widest waterfalls in the world, located on the Brazilian/Argentinian border in Iguassu National Park -- an untouchable preservation area. This aerial view of these spectacular falls was photographed in March of 2003. The Iguazu River is approximately 2 miles (3 km) wide at the point of the falls. Hundreds of separate cataracts spread across the Iguazu, some of which drop 200 feet (61 m).
