One of the more inspiring sights for stargazing enthusiasts is the rising of the constellation Orion the Hunter. The photo above features Orion as it’s rising above Mount Dirfis (5,719 ft or 1,743 m), Greece. It was taken from the Agali's Canyon Refuge, at an altitude of 3,051 ft (930 m), on October 10, 2020. The pinkish blotch in the Sword of Orion, is the Great Orion Nebula (M42), the brightest and most easily visible, diffuse nebula in the night sky.
