The photo above displays the angular size difference between a supermoon and a "micro" Moon. The smaller Moon was the Cold Moon of 2020 (captured at apogee on the 30th of December 2020), and the supermoon was the Pink Moon of 2021 (captured at perigee on the 27th of April 2021). The supermoon was almost 10% bigger in the night sky due to its closer approach to Earth.
