This beautiful crescent moon photo was taken just after dawn in early October near Zsámbék, Hungary. I woke up early and went into the garden while the Sun was still rising. Sirius was twinkling bluish and Orion whispered the fact that winter is coming soon. Over the eastern horizon, I spotted the waning crescent Moon. The transparency was good and the thin Moon was spectacular. I ran into the house for my camera and searched for a good place to take some photos. Finally, I planned a frame with leaves around the Moon. At the time of taking the photo, the Moon was 31 hours before new Moon.
