Featured above is a 3-D view (stereograph) of 2 and a half turns of the DNA molecule. I put together this 3-D model from a Cochranes of Oxford kit, and Dr. Brian May created the stereograph – in mid-December of 2022. A DNA molecule consists of two long polynucleotide strands or chains made up of four types of nucleotide subunits. Each such molecule contains the biological information responsible for making every species unique.
You can view the stereograph by:
- Using the Cross-Eyed method
- Using 3D prism glasses
- Using Brian May’s OWL Stereoscope
