Cumulonimbus Incus and Cloudburst over Sardinia

I observed this mature thunderstorm (cumulonimbus incus) and cloudburst above Villacidro, Sardinia (Italy) on May 28,2023. Towering clouds resulting from convective storms like this one often reach altitudes of 30,000 feet (9,144 m) or more. Rainfall is often quite localized, a deluge in a particular spot but only a gentle shower a short distance down the road.
