Even simple photographs can be very beautiful. More important than over-powering and over-processing the image is to be in the right place at the right time -- and to keep your eyes open. Several weeks ago, I had this beautiful and iconic view of the well-known Big Dipper asterism (part of the Ursa Major constellation). It's shown above the magnificent rock formations called Roques de Garcia, in Teide National Park. In the background at right is the Teide volcano, which reaches a height of 12,198 ft (3.715 m). Photo taken on September 19, 2023.
Photo Details: Single shot; Canon R6 camera; Sigma Art 28 mm; tripod; f/2.2; ISO 3.200.
