Featured above is a magnificent view of the Olympic Mountains of Washington State as observed from Golden Gardens, overlooking Shilshole Bay. The view here is looking west. The serrated peaks of the Olympics, still snowcapped through spring, rise nearly 8,000 ft (2,438 m) above Puget Sound and Shilshole Bay. Though clouds quite often interfere with the view, even though a broken cloud deck this mountain panorama stirs the imagination. Photo taken on March 24, 2024.
