The pinkish sky shown above is my view of the auroral display of May 11, 2024, as observed from near Suelli, on the island of Sardinia (Italy). The trapezoidal structure at lower center is the Nuraghe Piscu, a type of ancient megalithic edifice found on Sardinia. Note that the streak at upper right is the trail of the International Space Station (ISS).
