Shown above are star-trails over the Apuan Alps of Tuscany (Italy) with the yellow-green light of fireflies illuminating the meadow in the foreground. These bioluminescent bugs are a summertime (early summer) delight in certain areas of the world. The Moon is just about to rise as seen at far left. Note the shooting star at center -- short vertical trail. Photos taken on July 9, 2023.
